CHRISTMAS IN HONDURAS: DECEMBER 3, 2008 - TEGUCIGALPA, HONDURAS CITY DUMP
There are currently 350 people living in the city dump of Tegucigalpa, Honduras.
On Wednesday, December 3rd,, 5 people from Trace Crossing flew to Honduras to
provide these people - many of them children and teenagers - with a special
Christmas gift. We fed them a simple meal - a sandwich, a piece of fresh fruit,
and some clean water - then gave them a Christmas gift. Girls and boys received
bags with toys and candy along with some hygiene items. Men and women received
bags for adults that included hygeine items, a flashlight, and other items.
Everyone's bag also had a new shirt and some had hats.
