Finally, after we have repented of our sin and surrendered our heart, God asks that we make a public expression of the faith we have found. This means finding another person who follows Christ and saying, “I believe, too”. If you want to make that choice, if you want to give your heart and life to Jesus Christ, then we would encourage you to use this prayer to guide you. They aren’t magic words and this isn’t the only way to express your heart to God, but this is one way you can.

God, I understand that you love me. I’ve read your words in the Bible, and I’ve seen the beauty of your invitation. God, would you take the broken pieces of my past and make me new. I want to turn my life away from the direction I’ve been heading. I want to give my life to you. I want to follow Christ with all my heart. I want to know Him. I want to love Him. I want to do life with Him in charge. God, I give you my heart today.
